Matriculated in 1995
Played professional football in South Africa for Witbank Black Aces in 1997 to 2001.
Opened first business in 1996 which was a tavern in a hostel, joined the family business in 1997.
Opened 2 restaurant businesses; one in Kriel and one in Secunda between 1997 and 2000.
Chairman of Mpumalanga Black Aces Football Club since 2004 and renamed as Alexander Black Aces FC; Chairman of Lakama Group.
Chairman of Vegas Gaming Group, which comprises of 10 gaming licenses within the Gauteng, Limpopo and North West province (7 x casino’s (no tables) and 3 x sport betting businesses).
Member of YPO (Young Presidents Organisation) since 2004.
Nominated as top 100 Young Entrepreneurs in the Mail and Guardian in 2008. I believe I can add a lot of value to the Board based on my experience I have gained through the years.

Mario sat on the Board of Governors of the PSL (Premier Soccer League) from 2006 to 2016. He was the youngest ever chairman in the history of the PSL to sit on the board.
He was selected on the Mail and Guardian’s 100 most successful Young South Africans.
